On this page I want to show you how I make my models, my
transformations. These transformations give me the best satisfaction.
I mean, what's the fun of spending money on a model, opening the door to
the showcase, putting the model in it, and closing the door again? I
like it more to spend a lot of time and energy, transforming a,
preferably cheap, model into something special and unique.
I want to show you my ideas, my struggles, my failures and (hopefully)
finally a nice result. If you would like to respond to this, don't
hesitate to mail me with your comments, your ideas and tips.

Je souhaite vous montrer sur cette page comment je fabrique mes modèles
car ces transformations me procurent le plus de plaisir.
Je m’explique. Qu’il y a t’il d’amusant à acheter une miniature, ouvrir sa
vitrine, y déposer son modèle et puis tout refermer ? J’aime beaucoup
mieux consacrer plein de temps et d’ énergie à la transformation un
modèle, de préférence sans grand frais, en quelque chose de spécial et
unique.
Je veux donc vous faire partager mes idées, tâtonnements et échecs, pour (
j’espère) finalement vous faire découvrir une belle réalisation.

This is
Lucifer. A rear wheel drive Traction Avant (what's in a name?)
It is a tractor puller, equiped with a Ford V8 engine from a Sherman
tank. During its life it has had many colours. White, black, black with
yellow and red flames, and this two tone brown and black.

C'est un tracteur pour le tracteur pulling, équipé d'un moteur Ford V8

After
disassembly the paint was stripped off. I still had some tractor pulling
rear wheels from my C4X
project. The rear fenders were cut away in order to fit these big
wheels. |

tracteur pulling par mon
projet C4X. Les ailes arrière ont été découpées afin d'adapter ces
grosses roues. |

This is a
picture of the Ford GAA V8 engine, which sits in the middle of the car,
behind the front seats. We will make something alike, but since it will
be hardly visible in the model we won't try to make too many details. |

two radiators that sit behind the rear doors. Better only drive with
windows opened. Air intakes are placed on the roof. |

Note the
hinges, indicated by the red arrow in the picture. They shouldn't be
there on a Commerciale. Too bad I noticed this after the model was
ready. |
