This was a nice project to build. I wanted to
create a garage for a long time. Over time I collected various
tools and other items one can find in a garage. The decision to
start creating the garage was made when I could buy a kit of the
DS-engine. This kit is manufactured by Auto-Bineau. The DS coque
(i.e. the chassis) is a kit from CCC (on the picture the model to
the right, the other is a model from AHmodels). All the body parts of the DS
come from a Vitesse-model. The engineer is a white metal figure
from Omen. Some of the items I created myself are the garage
itself, the office, the ladder, the ramp (thanks to
Citroën Damsté for letting me photograph and measure up their
ramp), the tire-shelves, weldingmachine, the heater, the
workbench, the various cabinets, the sink and so forth. |

Ce fût un projet particulièrement
agréable à construire. Je voulais créer un garage depuis
longtemps. Avec le temps j'avais déjà rassemblés divers outils et
autres accessoires que l’on peux trouver dans un garage. J’ai pris
la décision de commencer à créer ce garage après avoir acheté un
kit du moteur de la DS. Ce kit est fabriqué par Auto-Bineau. Le
coque de la DS (c.-à-d. le châssis) est un kit de CCC (sur l'image
le modèle vers la droite, l'autre est un modèle d'AHmodels).
Toutes les parties de la carrosserie de la DS proviennent d'un
modèle de chez Vitesse. Le mécanicien est une figurine en métal
blanc de chez Omen.
Par ailleurs j’ai réalisé le garage lui-même, mais aussi le
bureau, l'échelle, la mezzanine (merci au garage Citroën Damsté de
m’avoir laisser photographier et mesurer la leur), les râteliers à
pneus, le poste à souder, le chauffage, l'établi, les divers
coffrets, l'évier etc.…
